For those that use or use to use the X-pass as a part of their passing game what issues did you come across in using it while rolling?

I have watched some vids on it of people drilling it and teaching it but was wondering what are common variables that come your way if you are the passer ? and how did you consider approaching them ?

I'd imagine a grip on your collar and /or an ankle could be common ?

And also the setting up of the initial position..what issues did you come across with this ?

I realize it's not something that may just happen rather it'd be something you may need to intentionally set up.

Your biggest problem won't be the collar or ankle, those grips can be easily dealt with. Your biggest problem will be good spider & lasso players that pummel their feet back in when you pressure down on the collar/hip grip for the pass.
