All of the real fighters have contracts that give them a certain percentage when they are the main event of a ppv. Since the numbers are going to be HUGE by having the female jv squad wrestle at the end they dont have to pay that bonus. Not a single extra ppv will be bought because of them but ufc will save themselves millions.

My proof is the commercials. Its all about brock vs hunt, silva vs dc, edgar vs aldo. Its pathetic. Then watch, dana will go on and on about how tate was the biggest selling pov headliner ever, shes a super star, major draw, wmma is taking over. All in an attempt to trick the chinese the ufc is on the up and up to close that 4 billion dolla deal.

I for 1 am not purchasing these wolf tickets.

No. The real reason is that Ronda will be there supporting Browne.

stopped at "ugly faced no booty biatch"

Actually Dana won't say that, he's already made sure Tate knows her place in the promo video. "Tate is the most dangerous woman in the world apart from Ronda Rousey."

wow what a theory. shes the main event because it's the only title fight..... nothing more goof, ..... if they were worried about saving money they would have not found DC an opponent and saving millions on the PVP points that he's going to get

When Mighty mouse headlined a big PPV and the fans were angry Dana went on a huge rant saying championship fights will always be the main event on his ppvs... Im wondering if someone brought this up to him after hunt/ lesner was named main event for 2 hours.

I think it is all silly.

man people on here a fucking retarded sometimes..its the title fight, of course its the main event.
people dig too deep

DW is basically telling Ronda to get her head out of the pillow and get back in the cage.

Mental status fixed or broken doesn't matter.

I stopped there, because the rest was just a mess of a post.

But the top authority on MMA business (Dave Meltzer) said that card placement does not matter when it comes to PPV points & Tate (as champ) was already receiving PPV points before Jones was dropped.
Now I am not saying that if a main event fight gets made that the fighters don't get taking care.
I am saying that Brock, DC, Hunt's signed contracts do not give them more money for card placement.
They signed bout agreements & contracts to fight at UFC for x-amount of dollars

I never looked for a source but somebody mentioned Brock wasn't prepared for 5 rounds. Not sure if that's true or not.

Brock & Hunt trained for three & were contracted for three.
To expect two huge heavyweights to change to 5 rds, 2 days before the fight after all training is done is not reasonable.
