Real reason Gsp wont fight Woodley

Gsp didnt leave the sport w/his head held high. Many fans felt Gsp lost to Hendrick or a draw at best.

Gsp made the choice to cherry pick titles that he knws he can win. Bisping was a prefect pick. Everybody wntd to fight Bisping when he got the title.lol

Ever since Serra tko Gsp in his prime,it changed Gsp's style of fighting. He will only stand w/fighters who are not a threat of knocking him out. Nick Diaz, Koscheck or Bisping but opponents like Dan Hardy got wrestle fukd.

Woodley has dropped 3 of the top strikers in the ww divison. Lawler, Wonder boy, and Till. With Woodley's wrestling being good enough to stuf a tds, Gsp knws this fight is to risky.

He rather jab Khabib to a win or wrestle fuk Conor's brain out at LW. Keeping his holy ww goat status. Easy matches to win and add to his legacy. Duck the ww divison and duck Silva forever. U CAN NEVER BE TOP GOAT IN MY BOOK!

George is now a money fighter. He took the 185 fight knowing he would never defend, he simply knows that this is how MMA now works.

If he won't stand with people that can knock him out, how come he stood with Alves and Hendricks? Or Serra himself in the second fight, for that matter. Are you also suggesting that Diaz and Koscheck never knocked people out?

You can always guarantee that when you see a "real reason why GSP does X" (goes for more fighters than GSP of course) thread it will be by someone that doesn't know what he's talking about.

The answer is simply that he doesn't gain anything from capturing the WW title again as he's already the best WW of all time with a huge margin. Woodley is by no means a money fight either so it's all risk and no reward.
 
Woodley, like Hendricks, makes for a bad matchup.

Woodley is even worse, because he's just as athletic, has KO power in his hands, can stuff every takedown and he's a very intelligent and skilled fighter at that.

Woodley has the makings of a true great.
 
gsp doesn't want to lose, plain and simple. avoiding his real challengers is his main goal.

Because he was overrated and only beat cans his entire career?
 
Woodley is too predictable. He won't even pass Colby Covington, let alone GSP or Rory.
 
Hendrix was juiced to the freak'n gills....USADA took care of his career ASAP. Georges is a prize fighter, he'll take the most favorable matchups worth the most money... earned that. When he was champ, he took on all #1 contenders. Aside from Bisping, he never chose his fights....he does now, and I'm happy for him.

Real reason GSP wont fight T Woodley = he doesnt have to.
GSP is in a rare position of leverage for a mma fighter. Only the top draws get this kindof leverage. Essentially he gets to pick his fights as he wants because the UFC knows no matter who he fights they will make money.
So if you were in that position why wouldnt you fight the easiest fights that bring the most money? Legacy is the smallest factor imo. He is GOAT WW champ and all-time GOAT top 3 on almost anyones list. He doesnt have to do shit for legacy at this point.
