I wonder if he was baiting him into returning with those comments.

I think GSP represents the old model to Dana these days.

With GSP being the first guy to secure legit mainstream sponsorship, and since leaving and the UFC moving the goalposts now GSP represents everything wrong now.

Independent contractor with his own extremely lucrative sponsorship deals making negotiating with him difficult and enough money to not have to kiss Dana's ass make him less than beloved in Dana's eyes........... I think anyways.
