Could definitely see RDA standing up with Nate but he'd probably tap him out too. Carlos would obliterate RDA. Rory would beat RDA and let's not discuss Robbie. In order to beat Robbie, you have to kill him or the Judges.

RDA just defended his belt in December and he's ready to go by UFC 200, maybe even sooner.


At least he's asking for a shot coming off an actual title defense, unlike McGregor who barely just won the FW belt and wanted to jump straight to LW.

There is also the angle here that RDA may be trying to point out to the UFC brass that once you allow someone like McGregor to have anything they want then it opens up Pandora's box to all sorts of other demands by other fighters. RDA may be saying look you gave McGregor this special treatment, now I want it to. And let Rockhold fight Bones without risking his belt and let Bones fight Werdum without risking his belt, and in the process you hold up all these divisions that have actual fighters in there contending for title shots who are now sitting on the sidelines for this silly bullshit.

Because McGregor is offensive and has a big mouth and by doing this RDA denies Conor what he wants which is a shot at 155......you getting it now? How is Conor going to get by Nate at 155 though? Wut?

Is there a clear contender at LW? It is a stacked division but I dont see anyone beside Khabib/Ferguson winner with a legit claim at a TS.

Eddie Alvarez maybe but he is coming from 2 lackluster split decisions and hell probably need 1 more fight.

On the other hand in WW you have only Woodley not booked and nobody wants to see that fight.

Conor at 155 is lot better of a fighter, he has fought at that weight before and performed, and RDA knows it. Nate for me got lucky because Conor stepped up to 170, and not being used to weight gassed out. But when he had energy he was lighting up Diaz easily.
