People saying "USADA claims another victim" are complete retards.
He got caught, but before then he was looking just as fast, and even more precise than he normally did. He was also even lighter on his feet than before. He didn't come in looking like the soft, deflated, fighter we've seen so many become. The foot injury put him out of training for two months and if you were following him you would see he stopped all training during that time, so of course he would lose some mass. Yet still, overall he was doing very well with really quick, sharp strikes, constantly backing Alvarez up against the fence and he looked to be striking at least 20% faster than Alvarez, landing more accurate punches. He got caught, it's his own fault, he got caught, and I'm not downplaying Alvarez. But RDA was ready to put on the 5 round high-pressure, high-speed performance we saw vs. Pettis, but even faster this time.
Even when caught, he wouldn't go down. Look how wobbly he was, I never seen someone wobble that bad because everyone else would have fell down. Last time he had a TKO was because he wouldn't tap and his jaw broke.
RDA is still a beast, physically and mentally on a different level than most of the UFC. He needs to work on keeping a good defense while pressuring or he will get caught again. But his loss had nothing to do with USADA.
War RDA, still one of my favourites.
