The UFC have 5 fighters in 3 weight divisions that have all seemingly with their futures entwined?
RDA was to fight McGregor in a super fight for his biggest pay day,he gets injured and now that payday could be gone and he is left with no obvious challenger.
Diaz just beat McGregor but nothing in that fight would indicate that he could beat RDA in a rematch, a fight with Lawler would be interesting because of the fact that his brother Nick beat Lawler a few years back. But could a win over the featherweight champ earn you a welterweight title shot.
McGregor was fighting to make history against RDA. Injury and Diaz derailed that and it looks like it is back to Featherweight with him.
Aldo and Edgar are campaigning hard to get the shot at McGregor (largely because the PPV numbers UFC 200 will do and with McGregor almost a dead certain to be on it)

Lawler holds the key to all this unraveling. He pretty much decides it all;
If he chooses Condit, Woodley or even GSP then, Diaz fights RDA (if he wants) and McGregor fights either Edgar or Aldo.
If he fights Diaz (remember it he beats Nate the rematch with Nick would be massive) then RDA and McGregor may still fight (on controversy alone it would sell), Aldo and Edgar fight (maybe even an interim title).
These 2 options make for some hypothetical card for UFC 200!!!

Note:
I doubt the UFC will let RDA fight Lawler, they have no intention of promoting RDA as the 2 weight champ as his last title fight was Fox.

Dos Anjos has enough contenders at LW. It's not even up for discussion.

Aldo/Edgar will fight Mcgregor. There is no way he should fight anyone who at WW. It doesn't matter who happens to be the champion.

Btw TS, Lawler isn't choosing anyone, he is fighting whomever the UFC says.
