Goddam RDA looked great last night. Before that his last LW fight was against Tony, and he lost a very close decision.

I think a lot of people forgot how good he was, after losing to way bigger WWs.

I thinks he’d be able to beat the likes of Poirier and Gaethje if he stays at LW.

RDA is still champ material? Really?

Fun fight and a good performance, but is that honestly what you took away from that?

Yeah, I think he also got better after losing to Alvarez with a lucky punch. He moved up to Welterweights and even won good fights at there. He is still solid, he is better than Alvarez for sure right now. But I think he is still behind top 5 such as Poirier, Gaethje or Tony Ferguson.

Nah he gets rekt by the top 5 LW now. I would pick a prime RDA against all of them but not now.

He was fighting a good fighter. What didn’t you like about the performance?

    Exactly that.

He was fighting a good fighter, not championship level. And obviously we can't forget that that good fighter was on 5 days notice, had not been training in a mma gym for '4 months', cut 20 pounds on that short notice and who was noticeably smaller than his previous outings. Rda won a convincing but not dominant fight- in regards to damage and almost ending the fight.

RDA was also hit a surprising amount in a fight where he spent at least half of it pushing felder up against the fence or on top. Someone like Conor or even Justin would sleep him pretty quickly.

I like rda, he's a don and won a good fight but I definitely didn't come away from that thinking that he is still champion material

I know Felder has solid defensive grappling but i feel it is those missed moments that make RDA not championship worthy rn. Why can’t he get to a good advantage on the deck against Paul Felder and attempt subs or rain down gnp. He is a 1000 dan triple mega black belt or whatever is he not? Felder is a guy who works hard in a Gracie gym and puts in the hours. Is Felder’s BJJ resistance that effective? He even said he didn’t train any grappling.

    Lucky freak punch Aldo.

An prime RDA does Conman comfortably. Even this old RDA gives him a dam good run.

    Hes 1-1 with Diaz.

RDA has been outstruck by far lesser strikers than Conoran and doesnt have near Diaz' chin
