Either he goes back to lw or goes to bellator/ wsof. He is giving up a ridiculous amount of size to guys equally talented. He has no business at ww.

he doesn't look done at all -- had a decent performance

i think ur underestamating edwards a bit, he is actually pretty good and rda didn't look too bad

Screwed either way. RDA used to have insane cardio at 155. Seems like he just kinda plods forward these days.

165 division would be great for guys like him

True, even a striker like Leon can take him down easily

Dude took a fight on late notice against a much bigger opponent, to save a card

He lost, yea, but there was nothing in that fight that screamed 'retirement'.

There no quit in RDA... he went for it till the final bell. He just got beat. That's it.

Back to camp, train for the next fight.

He is not equally as talented as Edward's. He got out grappled, out boxed, beaten in the clinch and out game planned.

Hes just not a championship level fighter anymore.

Rda looked meh he was picked apart from Edwards range the fight was one sided.

It's obvious he will never win the WW title, he needs some easier fights against some of these up and comers at the bottom and outside of the top 10. If he can put together a win streak maybe he can find himself in some big fights.

Huge fan of RDA but his fight IQ is spotty at times, that's what lost him the fight. Had a ton of success with the low kick but didnt throw it a lot. Was nonchalantly not defending him self off clinch exists and was getting blasted with elbows. That was a winnable fight for RDA, he lost it with critical tactical errors. He needs to up his fight IQ if he wants to take the next step at WW

He's a 165er fighting mostly 175ers.

I'd like to see him vs Thompson next, he only enters the cage at 180-ish. Tall but not thick. Plus it would be similar to Shogun/Machida stylistically.

He is extremely technical. Boring and doesnt take risks as much as i wish he did but he is legit. The size difference was just enormous, though. Rda has no chance at becoming champ at ww.

Nah, he should fight people of his generation and just fun fights. He's too much commodity for the UFC specially as a consultant for fighters from Brazil. First LW champion from Brazil in the UFC. Dana going to offer s job like Noguiera before he releases him to Cokers sinking ship.

TS named the wrong guy, if anybody proved they should retire tonight it's Oleynik.

Than again he was in the octagon so briefly TS might honestly have forgotten about him.
