I hear alot of people talking about McG being the GOAT if he beats RDA

It took RDA 12 wins in a stacked division against some of the best in the division to earn a title shot against Pettis

McGregor comes in and gets an immediate title shot without ever stepping foot in the Octagon at 155.

Even when Anderson and GSP were clearing out divisions they never got immediate (or any) title shots against the MW and LHW champions respectively. Jon Jones, one of more marketable fighters in the UFC, was never matched up to fight the HW champion despite destroying the LHW division

It doesn't matter how good McG is, if he gets to skip to the front of the line without running the gauntlet(s) at LW, (let alone the absurd rumors of him fighting Lawler at WW) it diminishes anything he accomplishes

While I agree with you be ready for the sherdog logic

It's pretty hard to match Jones up with the HW champion considering there's been 1 title fight in like 2 years.

I'm talking about before his legal troubles. It made even more sense considering Cain was injured half the time, they could have set up JDS/Jones or Jones/Werdum

Conor is to small to be the true GOAT.

Can't be the best on the planet if there are guys who can mush you.

Unlike those other fighters, Conor actually made it a point to actively go after the belt in the next weight class and basically give the ufc no other choice. He makes them alot of money, and that comes with perks.

Gsp beat around the Bush for years about fighting anderson, Anderson probably would have been allowed to fight for the lhw belt if he hadn't pulled that nonsense at ufc 112, and Jones pretends that he wants to fight at HW yet he is already signed to fight Cormier.

McGregor: 69 UFC records broken RDA: 0 UFC records broken.

Aldo was going to get an immediate shot against Pettis at LW but chickened out. GSP would've gotten an immediate shot against Silva but he kept beating around le bush. Jones would have gotten an immediate shot at HW if he had the balls to move up. Which other record breaking UFC champ actively campaigns for a shot against the champ of a higher weight class and got denied?

So what happens if he finishes him within a minute? Means he just destroyed the guy that beat all those guys.

Name one thing that I said that isn't 1) 100% true 2) subjectively fair

Yeah, it is totally unfair that Conor gets to fight a larger, skilled fighter. He should be fighting cans, right?

RDA 13 stoppage wins and hes been koed into oblivion several times.

Conor 18 wins by stoppage and only 2 learning process loses at his early twenties.

RDA - 5 LW losses

Conor - 0

Conor > RDA

19-2 > 25-7

Conor > all. Soon will be 20-2 being UFC LW Champ, FW Champ, 15 fight win streak, 19 KO in 22 fights.

They refer to Conor as GOAT in terms of nickname rather than an established accomplishment. He's a long ways away from being spoken of in the same sentence as GSP, Anderson or Fedor.

I called it. the sherdog logic never disappoints

RDA holds 0 wins at Featherweight. So, what's your point? Why would Conor have wins in a weight class that he has yet to fight at in the UFC? Common sense. After he beats RDA, he'll be the undisputed (and lineal) champion and a simultaneous two-division undisputed champion. Talk to me then.

Actually the difference is that RDA isn't getting the FW belt if he wins
