Shlemenko has always been one of my favorite fighters for some reason. Often through his career he has been extremely frustrating to watch though, specially after the Mousasi fight. Relying more and more on spamming his spinning attacks instead of his solid striking fundamentals, his grappling/TDD also never evolved (aside from his wicked standing guilliotine). So I was positively surprised this time around! Good knees, hand combinations, didnt over use spinning attacks, defended himself well on the ground and managed to submit a bigger, better grappler. War Storm!
