Between the two, which one do you prefer? So far, I like using the 3 bladed razor from Gillette since it gives me a closer shaved. However, what have been your experiences been like between the two?

If I want a really close shave, I use both.

I use a razor for my head and the areas around my beard. Closer and more exact.

I quit wet shaving about 4yrs ago & now just clip (no not @Clippy) my face with an electric razor.

it's close enough where it's not stubble, but you can still feel it.

FUCK shaving a layer of skin off of my face. never again.

my skin has improved immensely & I don't have that horrible contrasting skin tone look.

    Definitely a straight razor.

An electric shaver is a waste of money.

Electric. I buzz my head once weekly and my face twice weekly. Shaving is a pussy's endeavor, rubbing creams and lotions on your face like a silky cocksucker.

    "silly cocksucker" ??

Double edged razor and it's not close. Been using one for almost 10 years now and used the store bought crap for 20 years. DE is so much better.

Switch to the 5. I used to use the 3 blade until I got the 5 blade as a stocking stuffer. And I thought, “how many goddamn blades do you need?” And then I tried it. 5 blade is the bomb.

I use a beard trimmer. Closest setting, plastic off, no stubble, if I want a bit of stubble, plastic back on and change the setting.

I grew up with an electric shaver then went to razors but Ive been using the beard trimmer now for about 5 years and it's my preference.

Razor marketing makes me laugh. 3 blade, WOW. 5 blades, AMAZING. 5 blade with Gilette build in LotionTech strip. Give me a break. Reminds me of trainers/sneakers. Lousy "technology" with stupid names to make it sound like it does something.

Razors. Tried an electric one ounce and it ate my face up and took longer.
