Said it on the mma hour...says if Weidman touches Machida's chin he's gonna hurt him real bad. Says Weidman will get the finish.

please let's remember his trainer said this, not Chris Weidman himself

1 KO in what... 25 pro fights, many of which were in the top echelons of LHW division = weak chin? That's the biggest weakness he could find? Really? Lol.

Then it sure is good that chin is so hard to find.

Maybe longo is using the punchers chance as a strategy.

His chin isn't that weak and good luck trying to hit it lol.

He rarely gets hit.

Well... if he has a weak chin... that may be so, but he's extremely hard to hit.

I would say it is one of Machidas weaker aspects as the guy is an elite fighter with no glaring weakness

Indeed, but it's not like he's never been hit, nor is it like he's never been hit hard by bigger guys than Weidman. The fact remains he's only ever been KO'd once, so it's still a rather strange logical leap to say he has a weak chin based on that record. And then to say THAT is his biggest weakness that he could recognize? That's rather telling...

It might be but I think his biggest weakness is his tentativeness and low work rate. Longo is a great trainer though and I trust he will tell Weidman the right thing to motivate him. I think Weidman ends it with strikes or a submission within the first 3 rounds.

Yeah, a coach's job isn't to tell the truth but to say what their students need to hear.

Longo was basically saying Machida doesn't like being hit. Weidman will employ his game plan and overwhelm Lyoto

Weidman is going to walk through Machida in 1 round.

He's gonna test his chin on the ground first. Just like Anderson...

His chin is questionable to me. He's taken some good shots and he's taken some weak ones and still got hurt. I think anyone who sleeps on either guy is delusional (fanboy).
