Always been a fan of his fights. Did he happen to retire? Haven't seen him since this time last year. He is usually a pretty active fighter.

He told them he didn't want to do the tournament but was open to a fight on either the PPV series or some other PFL event if they did something this year. More or less what Kayla did but she is getting paid to sit home. Not sure if Cooper is also.

Super entertaining fighter. But I think we’d all like to see him switch things up. Rejuvinate his career by maybe moving to another promotion. Even ONE. I think he’s done all he can in PFL.

I agree. I'd like to see him go to UFC or Bellator to see where he really stacks up.

He has been a lot of fun to watch in PFL. I'd love to see how he does in other promotions.

looks like Ray Cooper is not on good terms with PFL

It is really bizarre how they're doing all these expansions and throwing bags of money at ex-UFC guys, yet they refuse to re-open the MW division. Considering there's a 35lb gap between WW and LHW, it's stupid to force guys to move up or down. There's a few guys on their roster that would fit better at MW.

They can't fill in the higher weight classes. Their HW and LHW division are bad, why should they spend money and resources getting mediocre 185 pounders? Just to say they have a MW division?

It's way better to work on their other divisions then to open up one for arbitrary reason of essentially "well everyone has a MW division".

It's fair to get rid of a division. But anyone who's plans were to fight in it should be given their release if asked.

I'd agree with that. Are there guys being held there? It's been a while now since they canned MW.

This is probably the dumbest thing I've read on here today. They already have 185 pounders, smart guy. Remember the fighters that had to move down to 170 or up to 205? Those guys. Then there's the new guys they brought in like Impa. They lost all their best LHWs this year, maybe they should close that one down since you don't think they need anymore divisions.

Yeah..they probably should close 205 also, but they likely just keep it because having big guys on the card are fun. Lol, did you think you got me with that one or something? Their heavier divisions suck. Don't know how you don't know that if you watch PFL.

Wow, they had 185 two seasons ago and some of those 185ers went into other divisions to stay in PFL. That's so crazy. Truly an insane exploit of labor. 185 pounders going into 205 due to lack of opportunity at 185 is truly unheard of in the MMA world.

You really just sound like a guy who is used to the UFC split of weight classes and just assume every league should have that. Out of all the things wrong with PFL you're seriously their lack of 185 division is a major problem as if it was so brilliant before.

Good luck dude, no one will miss ya if you stop watching.

Oh yeah, that's right, I forgot that UFC is the only organization with a "split of weight classes". I think you're just arguing with me for the sake of arguing. Before you thought it was an "arbitrary reason", now you're saying guys in PFL shouldn't be allowed to fight in their natural weight class because they can just cut 15 more lbs, or fight guys who are 20 lbs heavier? Do you think 185 is one of the heavier divisions? It's called "middle weight" for a reason. It's basically average-sized men.
