Nevermind, he will be fighting at BW. If the decision was Kakhramonov and Borg then this wad the wrong choice.
 
He won a split vs Bandejas in his last one. At least he's on 3 fight win streak and only 29 years old and has somewhat name value. Good for depth but won't do anything significant

Ideally yes, I just meant if they only had budget for one of them then it should have been Sayoud. Hopefully they announce Sayoud soon, he would be a good last minute replacement against Higo.
 
good bounce back for Gooch. Hopefully Borg actually shows up for the fight, dude became such a liability at the end of his UFC run..

Yeah he's a good middle of the div kind of guy, good fight for Gooch. I know he's doing the BKFC thing and doing well but I'd have picked up Dodson if I were Bellator before he went there. He's another one of the same kind of guys.

also dont get PFL not adding a real BW div other than UK one they are doing. You could get some solid guys cut from UFC/Bellator and then good talent from Russia.

Borg is good, but not an ideal first opponent if your trying to build something for him

We'll see if he makes it to the fight if it's even made

Borg gets a second shot at a major MMA org and the possibility to redeem his career (probably making decent money). Gucci fights legitimate opposition closer to his weight class. At this point I really dont see Gucci beating any top 5 guys at BW in Bellator. The size difference is just too much.

Isn't Borg going to run into the same problems? He's not a natural 135 pounder either.
 
Should be easy work for Gooch. Borg is solid but Gooch is a terrible match up for him. Crazy that Ray is only 29, feels like he's been around forever.
