Rawlings wins by RNC in 1rd

I saw a lot of people in other threads hoping and wishing for Ellis to ko Bec. Bec however won by RNC in the first round. Had a nice rally and drove Ellis across the octagon w punches elbows etc, Ellis dropped for a TD and Rawlings ended up getting the choke for the W. Thoughts SherBrothers & Sisters?

This is the first we've seen of an Alliance MMA trained Bec. She said that her time with Alliance MMA improved her skills a lot. I think she was very wise go outside of Australia for first-rate training.

Makes me wonder what the Alliance effect will be on Jessica Penne and Angela Magana, who joined Bec in adopting Alliance MMA as their place for training.

Here's what I said previously.

Lisa Ellis needs to retire. After the disgraceful trash talk that Lisa Ward would have never said and then that performance it's just clear she isn't the same after having a child.

At this point she's fighting for a payday while the people who are beating her where she should dominate are fighting to start the next stage of what should be a long and lucrative career.

There was a time I would've seen Ellis schooling Bec but that ship sailed a long time ago. I respect that she's been doing this a long time and has faced (and defeated a modicum) of top talent but she has long outstayed her welcome in the cage and needs to focus on her child and coaching alongside her husband Eddy.
