So thats 7 fights set plus the 2 title fights and Ige/Lopes fights will bump it up to 11.
Either Dana is lying about the number of fights on the card or Ige/Lopes will get shafted.

how confirmed were those 2 title fights tho? they seemed super confirmed then the list of some fights that were confirmed was released and no title fights on the list

I mean you'd assume they would be at least 2 title fights on this ppv even if isnt the ones that were rumored (Grasso defense pretty much guaranteed even if it isnt against Valentina, Fiorot being the likely replacement)

They're not "confirmed" in that they've been announced but we know from months of talk that Grasso is defending her belt on the card and it's not the main event.

They haven’t been confirmed. Helwani said that was the plan.

Grasso is basically guaranteed. They are already doing Spanish Interviews and promotion with her in front of the Sphere

Dana giving Rosas and crowd a little more entertainment?

UFC Vegas 86: Daniel Marcos vs. Aori Qileng Foul-Fest Ends in No Contest (Feb 10, 2024)

"
> Aori poked Marcos’ eye,

> Marcos returned with an accidental groin strike.

> If that was not bad enough, Aori then hit Marcos with a groin strike in return.

> It really became unbelievable when Aori tried a flying knee right when Marcos threw a kick, which then struck Aori’s groin again.

Referee Jason Herzog went out of his way to regain control of the situation, saying that although they were all clearly accidents, that points would begin to be deducted.

The fourth break for a foul lasted a lot longer as Aori kneeled down, he used up all five minutes of the allowed injury time. When the end of those five minutes came, Herzog gave Aoriqileng one chance to fight, but he could not and the fight was declared a no-contest."

Rosas shouldn't be allowed to fight. He's clearly missing half of his jaw which gives him an unfair advantage.
Half Jaw but double the chin

In all seriousness I think this kids very talented and has a good mean instinct in the cage, but he's gonna burn out the way the UFC handles these guys at his age. Maybe he'll be a Max Holloway case or a journeymen version of it and I'm wrong but I don't think this will be going well 5-10 years from now.

Good matchmaking. Good test for Raul. About the level of opponent he should be fighting right now. Excited to watch this one.
