7 as a ppv for me, 8.5 if it were a FN. I'm streaming it either way so it feels more like 8.5 I suppose.

The main event, & co-main, aren't great in terms of immediate significance but they are very intriguing and should be exciting enough.

The rest of card is surprisingly deep. Pretty much every fight has my interest piqued. Surprised they didn't put a WMMA fight on the ppv, Marina/Yan is certainly worthy. I would probably switch them with Holland/Oliveira.

I would keep Hardy on the main card because know ppl want to see him lose. Jacoby/Oleksiezck being way under Negumereanu/Kennedy seems pretty silly, they should switch those.

Alot of people hate on Covington/Masvidal but i think it's an interesting matchup all drama aside. It's also an important matchup for the division. Isn't this the division where the top ranked guys somehow avoided eachother? This will get things moving.

Rest of the card filled with nasty finishes/all out wars.

The wmma is the biggest attraction on the whole card to me. Nothing on here has the real heat of Agapova/Moroz. That is true hatred.

Just hoping for good entertaining fights. I’ll let you know what I think after it happens.
 
Covington without a belt is not a PPV headliner.

Undercard is very promising and will watch.

I'm one of the rare guys that actually pays, but 2022 and price increases make me mad and I'm not going to purchase unless the card is compelling. Colby is not compelling.

Terrible main event. Journeyman Masbumdal's five minutes of fame is coming to an end, and no one's shocked. Not even sure if the beef is real. I don't think it's real for Colby. Mas is hot headed so maybe it's for him.

I love Barboza vs Mitchell fight. I absolutely love real-beef WMMA fight between Mariya and Moroz. Fiorot is fighting as well. And so on.

I think overall, main event sucks balls, but overall, just looking at the fighters on the card, I'd say 7.5.

Get things moving? You mean in the UFC where you can lose 3 straight fights and still be ranked in the top 10??

It’s absolute fluff and the fact it’s the headliner of a ppv is embarrassing. I wouldn’t pay 75 cents for that fight. Let alone $75. A cpl of guys that have lost more than they’ve won in their last 3 fights? You can’t be serious?
 
You know, outside the main event, it's a pretty solid card. If one of Sherbros is going to watch the whole event, I think that's a great card to go watch the whole event. Maybe not heavy on name value, I mean, Mas is a journeyman and Colby just talks a lot, I don't get the whole Mas hype, Colby is an incredible fighter but he's not a big name or anything, but I think it's a pretty solid card from the very first fight to the second last fight.

Real grudge match too! No fake beef like Colby's. I mean, fairly sure it IS 100 percent fake for Colby, and it probably is, but like said before, Mas is a hot head so maybe he took it personally, but I wouldn't be so sure about that even.

Each fight in UFC 272 main card looks like a racoon versus a beaver fighting over a piece of dry cheese

Get things moving in the sense that it went down between two top ranked WW's. It's a rarity today. A couple of guys that only lost to the current champion recently. Context matters. If you're gonna bark like that atleast come with the facts.

Just because it's not a title fight, and that it's proven these two are inferior to the champion, doesn't mean it's a bad fight. It's a great stylistic matchup. Mas is a slick striker with good TDD, Colby is a good wrestler with inhuman output/cardio. I like this.
 
Why on earth is Umar Nurmagomedov the first fight of the night?

Card got much better after they added RDA/Fiz and Umar/Boom... but it's still a 6.5 at best .

Also according to Google, Spivak/Hardy got moved back to prelims. There's an empty slot on the main card... maybe UFC decides to add Poirier vs. Diaz after all?
 
Also unpopular opinion but Marina/Xiaonan should be on the main card over Spivak/Hardy
