Everyone right now is talking about Dark Souls 3 but let's not forget this gem. An absolute steal at 39.99. You all need to go purchase it. Great visuals and gameplay.

Damn I didn't know this was only $40. I picked up Dark Souls 3 yesterday but I want to play this too. Might go pick it up in case DS3 is causing too much rage and I need to calm down lol.
 
Just about done with UC3 will be picking this up next for sure.

Seeing some gameplay I was surprised at how "bland" it looked (not the graphics, those look like a theatrical animated movie from about 12 years back). It seems like they tried to make it more like the Skylanders games, but without the personality (R&C has the feel more like a second rate CGI film, the type that goes to theaters, makes 10-20 million and quietly goes to home video). I don't own any Skylanders games, but they have pretty good production vales with their cut scene animation, plot, and especially voice acting.
I'm not saying it doesn't seem like a fun game, just that nothing really grabs you (or at least me).
 
Real tempted to buy a PS4 just to play this
 
Game looks ridiculously good. I have way too much to play right now though so I'll have to wait a few months.
 
Thinking about getting this. never played any of the original games but it looks like good clean fun.

The visuals are ridiculously good looking too.
 
ratchet and clank is the definition of a solid modern platformer.
 
So what's the major differences between this and the first Ratchet and Clank? Isn't this a remake? Not interested just for graphics.

It is very similar but with added elements and extras from other R&C games(like weapons and upgrades). There are a couple other things as well. The story is being told from the perspective of Qwark from a prison cell. He is telling the story to a fellow inmate.

It looks phenomenal. If you liked the original and don't mind that it is mostly a remake it is only $40 and a lot of fun.
 
Picked this up yesterday during Prime Day, it was only $20.

Seems like a steal at that price.
 
ratchet and clank is an all-time great series. will be the first game i play when i buy a ps4

is the plot still about chairman drek trying to build a new planet? wondering if that's changed
