Hw is the only division that has not developed or grown. Now stipe and cormier would be great in any era but look at the rest. Francis wouldnt even be a top 10 guy back then.

Agree overall though. 04 is a legends bracket. Like 8 of 10. Today it's 4/10. Could grow by one because of Ngannou. Maybe Blaydes by default since he's younger.

The 2004 list is deeper but I’ll take Stipe, DC and Ngannou against any other top 3 on the list. Fedor would be a problem but Nog and Barnett get smashed.

Stipe, Cormier and Ngannou are the only 3 I see doing consistent. Stipe and Cormier are old but a few years back could take it to the best and I firmly believe that. Blaydes could do well IMO but run into rode blocks with the very elite guys.
Francis has power never seen even back then. Stipe's boxing and DC's hand fighting/wrestling makes him a threat to a lot of people. Pride was better though. Undebatable imo.

Tim sylvia lost to Big nog and Fedor back to back after he lost his UFC belt and beat vera. Fedor slept Arlovski after he lost to Tim but went on a 5 fight winning streak. Not to mention Big nog won the interim belt after years of pride wars.

ngannout is a blitz fighter, if he doesn't ko you in the first round you can beat him. that being said he is always dangerous.

Lol, how about Nog who came in at the same time and won the Interm belt?

Also how about the fact Fedor destroyed the 2 guy's that had been the previous UFC champs who both left the UFC for the chance too fight the guy they saw as the real HW champion and greatest of all time, much like Randy himself (who also lost too Nog) tried too do?

You do realize Fedor has beaten almost every UFC Champion there was from the time he started in Pride until his decline with the exception of Randy and Brock.

Do you really think if Fedor had gone straight from Pride too the UFC he wouldn't have won the belt against guy's he ended up beating anyway and likely holds the UFC defence record today?

Actually DC destroyed everyone because much like Fedor before him he was a complete fighter (though not as good as Fedor in the submission game).

He also benefited from not having 2 other complete all time greats in their primes competing at the same time as him unlike Fedor who holds 3 wins over such competition.

DC destroyed everyone because when your over 205 and athletic enough to win in the UFC you usually dont become a fighter. There are easier and far more lucrative callings for people like this. Especially in sports.

DC went down to 205 and although thenfights were far more competitive he still took out some top guys.
