In no particular order:

Phil Davis
Nate Marquardt
Roy Nelson
Rafael Asuncao

Rate these careers in order of best to least.

Marquardt
Nelson
Davis
Asuncao

Hard to rank fighters who are still active with fighters who are retired or near it (Roy). Davis and Assuncao are still at the end stages of their prime.

Marquardt, Davis, Nelson, Assuncao is my order at this stage.

Marquardt
Davis
Nelson
Asuncao

Its hard to rank them.IMO because while Nate has actually fought for a ufc title but doesn't have a lot.of all time great wins and has 20 career losses, Phil davis won the bellator belt but never defended. Asuncao may be the most underrated and Underappreciated career in the sport. Nelson was the ultimate gatekeepr and has faced a murderers row.

You’re asking us to rank fighters... in no particular order? When you ask us to rank something, doesn’t need to be in a particular order?

What the fuck TS. How dare you make a thread that doesn’t mention Fedor, Jon Jones, or Khabib.

Sometimes I forget we are international here. In no particular order just means my list is not reflective of my opinion. Its just listing the names randomly. Sorry it was not clear in the op mate.

Rafael
Phil
Nate
Roy

Without fact checking it just seems like Asuncao's tenure inside the top 3-5 in the world was considerably longer. Depending on the criteria I use in determining the "Best" career, I could see just about any order though.

Marquardt
Assuncao
Davis
Nelson

Assuncao not getting enough love. Wouldn't have a problem flipping him and Nate.

Nate the great is better than all of them. Davis might be second due to being in title picture for a while.

Nate has some pretty good wins and fought the best competition of all of them imo. He beat Demian Maia, Palhares, Tyron Woodley and Kampmann all by ko/tko, subbed Jeremy Horn, and beat Dean Lister and Dan Miller too. All good wins, and no shame in losing to the likes of Anderson Silva, Vitor Belfort, Okami, Lombard or Gastelum.

Assuncao has beaten

Masvidal
JLau
Dillashaw
Aljo
Munhoz
Font
Moraes
Eduardo
Caraway
Easton
LC Davis

one of the best resumes ever in the lower weights
It’s not who it’s when. When he wins a title let me know. But on reflection I think he does belong at number 2. Nelson has big Nog and mirko on his resume too

I think he means the order he has written them isn't his ranking.
