Well, of course he would. Then he could fight with little or no cutting.

Cutting weight is hell.
And unhealthy.
And totally unrelated to fighting skill.

Maybe someday they'll get it stomped out.

I say make heavyweight 285 and add a 225 pound cruiserweight div the only problem is finding guys to fill in the top spots at heavyweight that will be lost to the cruiserweight div

Yeah it's not like he's fought at a championship level lately so what does it matter? He's been having good/fun fights with fighters and has been doing well lately. He gets this catchweight fight here and if he wins he should hop in the Rizin openweight tournament. That's the most exciting thing for him out there, not some 215 division.

That's what he should do. The guy looks to me like a 225 to 230 pound fighter not a 215-220. If he doesn't want to cut weight, just fight the big boys. A lot of the top HW guys aren't that much bigger than him. Yeah guys like Brock and Struve and what not are but for the most part Page has HW power and will be fine.
