I just saw an ad for #rampage for real Thursday at 11pm during bellator.
wow 1st i heard
I wonder how long that will last.
Until the ratings are analyzed?
Well, you know there won't be any highlights. Since Dana owns all of Rampage's fights. Well except for those King of the Cage and Gladiator Challenge classics.
He will run someone over to get the pilot picked up
4 weeks because it's a 4 part special.
Oh, it's only a 4 part special? I thought this was a new reality show. Was about to say I hoped it succeeded because Rampage needs something to fall back on when his career is over. I heard he hasn't been the smartest with his money.
Yeah unless there has been some change in that Idea. #rampage4real is the name of the show. Which makes it hard to find info on because that's his twitter handle.
Its a primetime/24/7 type show that will run for a few weeks I assume.
And putting it after TNA is the smart move cause it should do similar ratings to what FM did, in the 400-600k range.
Just not sure why its only Rampage and not mixing it up like a real 24/7 and showing Tito and Page.
It's all part of Rampages deal with Viacom. Bellator fight + Reality Show + TNA + A movie development deal. Tito probably opted for Fight + TNA + Free tv Spots for Punishment clothing line.
But you figure they have to do something with Tito as well, maybe not a long series but some kind of special in the next few weeks that shows his journey in mma through the UFC and into Bellator.
Or maybe just a countdown show that focuses on Eddie/Chandler, Mo, Curran and Tito with some Page in it.
They need to do more than just a Rampage reality show.
You would think they would. If they do it would be week of the fight.
That can't really show any UFC footage on Tito. So they only have his 2nd Pro fight to show at all. They can talk to Tito and shoot training footage but that's about it. They should throw a lot of focus on Chandler Curran and should show a special with Chandler vs Alvarez 1 and Mo vs Newton 1 the week of as well. But their only real options for a time slot ar after TNA which is no occupied by Rampage and after Bellator itself.
Just checked my tv listings and its on tomorrow night after TNA. It's called #rampage4real and its a 30 minute program
im looking out for his future encounters with female reporters.
They should be able to maintain a good chunk of the TNA audience for 30 minutes.
I'm looking forward to the Rampage-O's ceral coming out next year.
3 weeks, its not a real ongoing series. Its basically a Primetime series for the fight but it just focuses on Rampage.
It says he gets in one last party before he begins to train for his PPV fight.
So its only a 3-4 weeks series.
Which is why its in that slot. Why they moved Fight Master and why the Frank Shamrock doc was in that slot. They know they can probably keep half the audience and do around 400-600k viewers.
And with Page being part of TNA more TNA audience might stick around.
If they show him recovering in the hospital from tito's hammer strike I will order the Ppv even though I will be gone that night.
