Think of the significance: the UFC was starting to REALLY take off, Chuck was the golden boy of the promotion, by far the most recognizable star and Rampage came in after one fight in the UFC, knocked him out and rocketed to fame and success that he had never experienced in America.

This about sums it up. Rampage has said that his greatest win was knocking out Wand, his best overall performance was probably against Hendo though.

Chuck II is close, but i chose Dan as well. Both guys were at the top of their game imo. Rampage looked well conditioned, and the most well rounded of his career in that fight imo.

It's Chuck 2!!! At the time Liddell was seen as very close to unbeatable and it was for the only major title Rampage ever won! Unless you count the PRIDE belt which wasn't worth sweet F*ck all after the '05 Grand Prix

Also as far as unifying goes the win against Hendo was gritty and close, he straight up smoked Liddell
