Rampage: "Glover is too cowardly to try and stand with me"

I don't get it.

Rampage knew what Rashad and Bader were going to do and instead of going out there, being the agressor he just sat back and let them impose their game on him.

He's a joke. Glover is going to choke him out in the second round methinks

That's what I do not understand...we all know Rampage is far more capable than that but something is missing being poor training, age or something else.

The Rampage who fought Dan Henderson back a few year ago would have ran over those guys. He was much more aggressive and actually was offensive in wresting.
 
Definitely agree that a lot of fighters have come in with pretty much zero intent on trying to finish him but I will say, go back and watch that Rashad fight and Rashad rocks him right off the bat. The problem with the UFC is that they don't have the yellow card system, and ever since that Randallmen fight where Rampage got a yellow card because the Monster just held him up against the corner, he's been really negative about people who do that shit.

I like Rampage, he's had some lackluster fights in the UFC that IMO should've been way better: Rashad, Machida, he should've ran through Jardine but hey Gegard and Chuck didn't either and neither did Vera so you can't shit on Jardine TOO MUCH. Could've been wose, Rampage could've been knocked out by Jardine.

Don't know what's said or what hasn't been said, still gonna root for Rampage.
 
Funny thing is... Glover would shut Rampage down if it goes to a striking fight.
 
Not sure why Rampage is so against using wrestling I'd like to see him use it he'd be more successful if he mixed things up I just want him to go out with a win.

If Rampage thinks people are "afraid" to stand with him and he's mister bad ass, then go box or do kickboxing tough guy, or are you afraid of standing with them? Yea, it only makes sense in MMA to beat the guy where you can, and if Rampage talks like this I actually would rather see Glover hold him down and just control him, treat him like a child and frustrate him for 10 minutes straight, then bloody him up

Knee injury against Bader, he was still at least able to Rampage Slam him but just imagine how much better of a performance Rampage would've had if he was even 70%. He was mega excited to fight in front of his Japanese fans, who he considers his most loyal, and lost a boring wrestle fuck decision because Bader didn't want to lose another high profile fight. Props to Bader for being a good fighter but he's a guy who takes advantage of the wrestling-based system.

I will def agree that his poor training for the Rashad fight and probably Jardine and others have been his downfall. But I think Rashad is one of the best LHWs of all time, better than Rampage.
 
Rampage is way too disinterested in fighting to win this. It doesn't even matter if it stays standing or not.
 
Seems Rampage only wants to take part in choreographed works and nothing else

Griffin Vs Bonner I had no game plan, they just winged it, swung for the fences and made it one of the most exciting fights ever. I know its MMA & I know your supposed to be prepared for all aspects of the match, but in a small way you all have to know he's right. Nobody really fights anymore as opposed to game plan winning because of UFC cuts. How many promos have we sat thru of Fighter A says he's gonna throw nothing but bombs, then come fight night its all game planned round by round? I hope for an exciting fight between the two.
 
Didn't he try the same thing with Jones... That really didn't turn out well for Page.
 
Rampage has got some serious issues mentally it seems sometimes. Its not a boxing match its MMA. Maybe as naturally talented as he is, instead of complaining about all his recent opponents and how they wont fight the way he wants them to, he shouldve been working on his game in order to stop it from happening again. The only way to not go to the ground in MMA is to have good enough TDD to keep the fight standing up. At one point in time I considered Rampage to be my favorite fighter. These days I cant stand him
 
Rampage is preparing well - he's getting his excuses out three months in advance!

But it's Rampage, so the excuse is... well... not the brightest one.
