Lovato wins if he can get Moose on the ground, i'm just not convinced he can get him on the ground.
Did a seminar with Lavato a couple of years back. Huge dude, hands like a bunch of bananas, amazed he can make 185. He's a BIG guy. I don't know what supplements he's got, but he looks like a freaking animal, even at 35+. As good as Moose is on the ground, he would absolutely be in trouble if it hits the mat, particularly on bottom.
I still favour Mousasi considerably in an MMA fight. Mousasi is hitting his peak now.
After that Rory performance.. Mousasi busts his face up very quicky with that jab alone. I think Moose finds a quick victory either by TKO to strikes or cut, or just a clean knockout.
Amazing how much people talk up USADA on this board about every non UFC fighter like it gives their comments so sort of credibility.
i wanna see him and moose next. then machida
Agreed. Should be a good fight.
He's a BJJ beast for sure.
And looks 100% natty to me.
Mous has good defensive wrestling. Stuffed Latifi for 3 rounds who was on the Swedish National Wrestling Team and strong as fuck.
Wouldnt be easy for Lovato to take him down IMO.
So 99% of the money to Conor and 1% to everyone else.
Yeah.. Lovato is one of those unknown guys that can beat a lot of ranked guys.
Really interested to see him develop. He got late into the game but he might be a freak like Romero and have like 5/7 good years on him.
Beast mode. I like the fact that there's this 'new' wave of BJJ guys dipping their toes into the MMA pool.
Don't you find yourself automatically thrown in the USADA pool once you get that black belt on Sherdog ? That's what I always assumed. I mean it's Sherdog. Fighters are lurking on it and stuff. Shit's no joke.
Rafael Lovato Jr. is a life long fighter who was training in stand up before BJJ.
Then he became a BJJ phenom. First under the Machado brothers (Carlos Machado in Texas I believe).
Rener Gracie and Ryron Gracie both competed against him.
Rener obviously thinks very highly of him. Just watch and listen as Rener commentates in this BJJ match:
Lovato a beast but the win over Harris is Bs. Gerald is way passed his prime and had less than a weeks notice.
