Ran Race the Reaper Oregon 2013 last weekend, decided to bring my GoPro. 6 mile course with about a dozen obstacles thrown in. I've done Tough Mudder before, and this was definitely tougher, despite being a shorter distance, tougher obstacles and tons of steep uphill portions during the course.

Ah man that looks like so much fun. Legit obstacles too.

I'm doing a tough mudder next month, can't wait.

Tough Mudder was pretty fun, probably too late now, but if you can, try to be in an earlier heat, otherwise you will eventually come to an obstacle with a huge backup of people and have to wait in line before going on. That was one thing I loved about Race the Reaper, there was never anybody waiting at obstacles, except for the very last one.

Looks tough but fun. I'm surprised at the quality of the video. Where was the camera mounted?

It was mounted on my head, I actually lost a little bit of the quality while clipping the video segments together, it was slightly higher quality when it was still on my laptop.

Man, that looks like a lot of fun. I wish someone would do something like that in Thailand. I'd be on it like a shot.

Of course I'd do really, really badly at it. But it would be fun.

Yeah, it's one of those things that requires muscle memory. I was military for a few years, so a lot of the obstacles came easy to me even though I wasn't exactly in the best shape for the event. Great race though.
