I was wondering, is it better when doing sets to gradually add more weight to where you do one set at your maximum weight for 5RM. For exmaple, 100, 115, 130, 145, 160. or do like 145 for all 5 sets. I read to articles while back that seemed to have conflicting opinions on it. One saying stop being a pussy and just do 5RM each time, another saying to gradually work up to max for 5 reps. I am just using the 5x5 as an example also btw. I'd rather just ask people first hand rather than find more articles to support either side.
