I started wrestling recently (have previous experience in judo) and I have questions about the tie ups.
During the neck and arm tie up, am I supposed to be pulling down on their neck and pushing away their arm at the bicep?
How do I transition into an underhook?
What benefits does an underhook give me?
When I get an underhook, what is my goal? Should I be pulling them up and close towards me? If so, why?
Are overhooks good or bad? Should I ever look for one?
How do I maintain wrist control?
Why do wrestlers constantly shove each other's heads around?
