I posted this on the K1 forum and got no replies thus far. Maybe one of you guys in here could help with this question. I have noticed kickboxers with tats that have figures with wings on them. Bang Ludwig has one on his back and Gilbert Yvel has a couple. These are just 2 off the top of my head, but I know I have seen others as well. Do these figures have something to do with Kickboxing mythology or legend, or are they just tats that the guys thought where cool?

id say it really depends, cuz im not sure. but i think they probably have a meaning behind them.

I'm surprised none of you know about the Legend of the Holy Winged Kickboxer.

hmm, no i don't.Never heard of it, could you explain??

No idea, but I will be getting one for every one I knock out from now on. Like, "this is how many I have sent to Heaven via the straight right express." Of course there is barely any room left on my body from all the "KOed Sylvester w/tweety birds flying around his head" tats that I get for each time I am put down.
