Khabib has built his legacy independently of Conor....similarly to the loss to Khabib not really impacting Conor's legacy. He could lose to Khabib 3 more times and it won't change the fact that he's the biggest draw in the sport, slept the 145 GOAT when he shouldn't have, and won the 155 belt when he really shouldn't have.

It puts Khabib in a tough spot to be honest because now any time they fight, really only his legacy is on the line. A loss to Conor would be devastating, all things considered.

It only stands to reason that beating good competition builds legacy better than beating poor competition. If you are just a can crusher then it doesn't mean much, so shitting all over Conor is not good if you like Khabib and think he is truly great.
