Question regarding WMMA

Are they not drilling striking, sparring, hitting mitts?

Nearly every fight either one or both look like they are playing Nintendo Wii. This past event Zingano(who had been fighting as a pro for many years) looked like shit, Ronda Rousey like even. Even the way most of them hold their hands doesn't look comfortable or confident. Their are a hand full of exceptions, but generally they look very amateur liked they train at a local mall with some Rex Kwan do

When the UFC started, modern MMA was just getting started. It didn't help that the UFC organizers invited some of the worst 'athletes' available, as no one good wanted to take part in the 'freakshow'. Women's MMA has been around for well over a decade and we still see fighters like Cindy Dandois in the upper echelons. It's not a matter of time. It's a matter of inherent differences between males and females.

Cindy Dandois is pretty good on the ground though
WMMA has already grown a lot the past few years, have some patience
