Question on Multivit

For teh GNC Men delayed multivitamin does anyone know what age you are suppose to take it>???
I am 17 and weigh 138. Am i too young right now??? Thanks. PS im taking centrum is there any difference??

Hmmm... I have taken them and they seem to be alright. I'm concerned because I got a cheap knockoff of centrum now, so with that in mind I have no idea what i"m actually getting.

I challenge you, if thats the case why does my pee get so yellow/flourescent after I take them? I would assume that meant I got a decent amount of it.

Lastly, this could all be solved if someone crapped into a collander and just took a few wacks at what dosen't fall through with a knife. Again, I am passing this along, honing in on madmick. Good luck son, wear goggles just in case. Better safe than sorry when it comes to crap in the eyeball.

Multis are like steroids, man. My bench went from around 215 to 430 in around 3 weeks. When I workout, I feel no fatigue.

I have never experienced those results, but a multi is a great thing. I see more results in the fact that i am less prone to sickness and I am more rested, but as for it being like a "steroid" well, there's nothing like the real deal.

I read this earlier, and wanted to see how fast the pills dissolve, if at all.

I dropped one of my Centrm Forte pills in a glass of water. I came back an hour later to see an orange tinge on the bottom of the glass, and a clump of yellow dust on the bottom that used to be the pill.

I don't know hwo the water compares to the enzymes in our stomach. But I don't see how a Centrum pill could pass through whole after about 8 hours of being inside us!

I read how that is a good test to see if your multi dissolves. I didn't remember the time scale or anything, but I was going to try it myself.

If it can dissolve in water in an hour, it for sure can dissolve in the few hours if it is in your stomach churning constantly with the very low pH of your stomach.

I agree with you for the most part. However; last time I checked, the same marketing principles apply to everyone, especially when we're talking about a product with very little product differentiation.

I bought a container of Animal Pak vitamins, and then ended up getting told that they were a waste of money. The price actually wasn't too bad where I ordered from. Anyone else ever try it?

I always thought the Animal Pak was overpriced. Plus that many pills all at once can start to wear on your digestive system over time. Hard pressed pills, like Centrum are hard for the body to digest. I actually think some of the newer GNC multis are the same. The used to put their mutlis in gel capsuls, which were easier to digest, but I guess it was more expensive to manufacture, because they stopped carrying them a couple of years ago and now all of their multis are pressed. I get gel capsul multis through another supplier, and feel that they're better than the GNC pills.
