Question on Equip

Also if it matters what im hoping to develope I want to increase the tightness of my chest, shoulders and arms as well as my legs and calves.

Get the bench. Machines are IMO subpar, waste of time. A rack of some sort with Olympic weight set, bars, couple hundred pounds of plates, and you'll be set.

Get a power cage and some free weights.

Bench.
Free weights.
Chinning bar.(wide one,not these doorway shit)
Power cage.

That s certainly enough to start you off.Have a look in local papers, often people selling unused stuff off cheap.

Does that bench look like a solid bench for the price and for what would benefit me?

Thats a pretty solid bench for the price, now all you need is an olympic bar and a shit load fo weights... oh yeah, lots of hard work if you want to be mr tight body..

You're not going to find much love for the machines around here, I'm afraid. Honestly, a power rack, a bench (adjustable if you want to get all fancy), a bar and a big stack of weights will be the recomendation of just about everyone here, and I'm with them.

Im grabbing an olympic bar with 300lbs on it for $109 from the same place.

I dont have the money to pick up a cage right now, is that a important factor in a complete workout? Also is it only good for pullups?

You can squat, bench, do rack pulls and impress your friends with it too. You can curl in it too, but I hear that makes your penis smaller...

The most important thing about the cage imo is the fact that it allows you to exercise/lift to your max SAFELY without the need for anyone else to 'SPOT' for you.It allows you to squat which a big thing in causing growth/strength increases.

I'd also suggest that you check out some of the stickies for exercise routines as you might want a little help in that area after looking at some of the posts you have put up.

I'd recommend picking up the techniques on weight training book by Stuart McRobert and Beyond Brawn by the same author to help you along,I'm sure others will disagree with me though:D  :D ...any other suggestions anyone?

Just read something else in your first post about putting the stuff in your backroom?
1.Make sure the floor can take the weight
2.Check that the fuc%ing things actually can be dismantled/fit in there first before you buy...

I definately plan on doing so.

Also I checked it comes dismantled so I can get it in there and im sure the floor can support the weight.

I would save up for the power cage + adjustable bench. Much more versatile and a better investment than either of those you posted.

Honestly man, I'd just save up for a power rack. You can do just about anything in it (squats, bench, rack pulls, pull-ups, chins, OH Press (outside) BB Row etc).

edit: Yeah, adjustable bench means you can adjust the incline on it...nothing too special.

Here's an example of an adjustable bench. Bench doesn't mean a bench press uprights/rack. It's just the thing you sit/lie on. But if you use it in a power rack you can do any kind of seated/lying/incline pressing. The possibilities are endless.
