Do you have to b part of a training gym to compete in NAGA etc. or can anyone enter the competition?

When you join a grapling scool can you compete right away or they make you wait etc.
Who in NYC allows students to compete in Grappling events Immediatly ( at leats after 2 months)

Anyone can enter. I went by myself; although, it was more fun when I went with some teammates to a different tournament.

Your new gym might want you to wait until they feel you are ready, since you'll be kind of representing them.

you can enter a tourney on your own without any training (i wouldn't recommend it though)

    You can enter by yourself.

But if I ran a club, I wouldn't let you enter, representing me, until you've had enough training from me, that I feel you're prepared.
