question about the Chagaev vs wlad bout

    does anyone have an idea about the payday of the fight ? i just want to see how much a heavyweight bout generates in europe nowadays , and if the money is comparable to the holyfield - tyson etc... of the 90's

    Earlier today, Team Saureland won the purse bid for the rematch between WBA heavyweight titlist Nicolai Valuev and former champ Ruslan Chagaev with an offer of $2,814,414.

    kilts base pay is 4mill the offer no hopers like rahman 600,000.chagev prob got more as he brings more(russian tv) to the table and has more of a name in europe

    Klitschko got 5 Mill Euro ($7) Chagaev got 1,3 ($ 1,8).

    Haye versus one of the Klits would bring about as much money to the table as any HW fight these days, as three large boxing markets (UK, Germany, Russia) would be purchasing, plus any interest from the states.
