So my thing is to compete at least three times this. I would love to make those times at big competitons.. Pan am world maybe the bjj open. Untill now I've only done local events here in town and was able to make the weigh ins and attend the event w no prob. Now I see w these big events they run three days and of course they're in other states. So here's my questions.

When do blue belts/ intermediates compete? Are they throughout the wkend or on one set day?

When do you weigh in? Are all weigh ins on that first day or is there a way to weigh in the day u compete?

Are you required to weigh in w a GI?

Does anybody have confirmed dates for these events? It would be nice to know mths ahead so I can start making up excuses... I mean making arrangments at work (which will be hard enough as is) to get out early enough to catch a flight.

the dates are on International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation

weights are with the gi on

you weigh in when your division is called, it's only a few minutes before your match

yes, all the blue belts (of the same gender at least) will fight on the same day

    IBJJF events:

white belt on the first day etc...

you weigh in before you fight.
