What up guys. Ok, first of all, im addicted to sunflower seeds. The problem with this is that I get the ones that are already cracked (no shell), so I can put down a lot of these. My question is, are these type of seeds considered a EFA? I like them a lot better than cashews and almonds. Actually almonds are pretty good.
good question. I also eat alot of sunflower, peanuts, and almonds. If anyone can post some info on those as well, it would be appriciated.
all i know about almonds is that i've heard if you want to keep your metabolism on all night you should eat 25 almonds before going to sleep.
threa title said question about nuts and i spit up on my computer screen as for sunflower seeds i'm not sure i get my efa's from natural peanut butter
Sunflower seeds and other nuts are all sources of "good" fat, but the EFA's most Americans are deficient in is Omega-3's, and unless you eat a lot of fresh sea-caught fish like mackerel and sardines, you're probably better off getting an Omega-3 pill (Kirkland from Costco is recommended). This topic has been done to death in this subforum, just look around, already.
i asked the doctor at my academy she said it works, and a personal trainer i know also said its good and suggested a few other foods which i can't remember now.heres his website
Thx Madmick Actually I did look around and the threads that talked about nuts said nothing about sunflower seeds. If thats the first thing that comes to mind when reading that title, then you're a Certified !
