White washing has been criticized by progressives for a long time now (I agree with the criticism too)
But now theyre being hypocritical. If whitewashing is considered problematic, why is the reverse considered ok?

During the George Floyd Riots, white voice actors playing black cartoon characters was deemed problematic, but there is silence when it comes to this.

and before anyone claims Im crying about "reverse racism", Im not.

Casting decisions shouldn’t be a distraction from the main subject of the piece - unless subversive decisions like this actually ARE the main subject of the piece. It was dumb then and it's dumb now, but we aren't just talking about "roles" we are talking about actual historical figures. Conversely, if you were upset about white's playing minority roles (and historical figures) in the past you should be upset about this now.
