Charolette vs Bayley ***1/2
Reigns vs Owens ****
Neville vs Swann ***1/2
Cena vs Styles *****
Royal Rumble **1/2

I'm starting to think that Vince has Cena/Orton matches in his porn collection on his computer.

Lesnar should head back to UFC as soon as possible when the suspension is up no reason to be jobber to Goldberg over and over again. Honestly Lesnar laying down for Goldberg like this they must be close friends and have a ton of mutal respect. I can't see Lesnar doing this for majority of the locker room expect for few guys.

Lesnar has been pushed to the moon and back for years so he can job some matches. He looks the type where if he's paid he's not gonna be a mark about stuff.

Granted I'm still salty about the streak being broken but Lesnar can do a job or two for a change. Granted he should be putting over younger talent but what ya gonna do.

I've said this many times in other places, but Brock is a genius at business. He played politics perfectly, maximized his value, and does as little work as possible. By losing to Goldberg (someone he can't give a rub to) he loses no real value and has wasted an entire year of matches (he did the same with Cena and HHH) without putting any fresh talent over. This makes Brock's last year on his deal another potential catastrophe because after five years he has buried every young talent and now they may have to negotiate another deal to get some juice long term.

Random thoughts:

Miz was a damn workhorse in this Rumble.

I was expecting more out of Corbin but he did look strong. So did Ziggler.

Big Show and Mark Henry officially passing torch to Strowman.

I really thought Y2J would sneak through the Rumble and win it all. With the field of five at the end, I knew he wouldn't. Also, why they didn't try to hangman Roman with the scarf from the cage is beyond me.

They're running out of shit for Kofi to do. Stop before he gets hurt.

They literally could not have picked anyone worse for #30. I like Roman Reigns and groaned at his music playing.

I agree with that. I love Goldberg but he's part timer Lesnar should put over younger talent that needs the push for the future.

They are close friends and have mutual respect

The surprise entrants:

Roman Reigns
Apollo Crews
Enzo
Elsworth

I know I'm forgetting the others but they could've thrown in Samoa Joe or Kurt Angle or a popular old timer instead of any of those.

I did like Tye coming in at 10 but they wasted their surprising entrants for sure.

dillinger should have been 11. the fans had printed 10s for gods sake, they were ready for it. i would have loved to see some sort of disappointment and then a pop for dillinger at 11.

Brock is savy smart business man no doubt about that.
