PWD PWD 1192: The Thanksgiving Night Tradition!

@RollSonnenRoll cutting a promo while you casually whoop The Bat's ass was some nasty work <lmao>

Can't sleep. Watching youtube clips. TDKR was such a weird movie. It had some brilliant scenes and dialogue but then some downright retarded plot lines. This fight was great, though.

That was about the only part of the movie I could get behind. The rest was borderline awful. Batman retires because he beat organized crime? Bruce gets back to Gotham without a passport or money? The dim-mak miracle chiropractor?

Ugh.

Ascending down the chain was badass. That shit would hurt lol.

The idea that the Bat took potentially hours to do this while the city is on the verge of collapse is pretty ridiculous but this is such a cool BATMAN scene. It was my favorite part. He inspired people just like he always planned to

Unfortunate because I actually enjoyed Zimmer's work on Rises more than Begins and TDK. It's very gloomy and dark. Great cold weather music

@My Spot I was reading that story about Great Khali killing that guy in APW and came across this quote that surprised me

“Roland Alexander died on November 5th, 2013, in his recliner in a rundown low-rent apartment in Hayward, California, with the wrestler Larry Blackwell as his roommate. He no longer had a dime in his name. Everything he owned, he had borrowed, owed money on, or got a loan for.”

Larry Blackwell was my classmate in jr high school and we once went to the WWF matches at the Cow Palace together
His real name is Larry Harvey and supposedly Roland Alexander used his dad as a money mark to fund APW shows in random farm towns for a little while until he ran outta money
Small world

The rest of you may remember Roland Alexander as the fat local promoter that took two of his guys to a dark match tryout for the WWF in Beyond The Mat

We're leading up to Ronnie Garvin's NWA title win on the stream, still remember watching that "live", what a huge pop cause it was genuinely a crazy legit surprise that not one single person expected
Fun stuff

@My Spot

WWE Vault is stepping up their game big time. I could watch hours of this stuff. New Generation Era is such a warm and fuzzy place for me and then combine it with the holidays and it's magic!

@Pliny Pete Listen to those loud Diesel chants after he turned and kicked Bret's shit in <lmao><lmao><lmao>

Kelani needs to work on her character more instead of just trying to be the female Ricochet…..chickochet if you will.

Clever. I hope that this will stick(ochet)
