According to the betting odds, the fight is pretty close. But in here, way more people say the nerd wrestler will got mauled by RDA. What is your real prediction?

Anyways, war filthy Colby

Honestly don't know... the win over Maia was impressive... but some could chalk it up to styles makes fights... RDA Is a tough SOB with a load of experience and very well rounded... this is the fight that I believe will tell us whether Colby is simply a marketing stunt, or a legit beast at 170... a win over RDA is not just a clash of styles, it is a very legit win.

Yes, I think he's bigger, stronger than RDA and will wrestle-fck him to a decision..

the good news is I'm usually always wrong..

I can see a wrestle fuck happen

Probably. I dont think that highly of RDA

Really hope not, but anything can happen tbh. Depends if RDA can scramble or sprawl enough to stay off his back.

i can see a shitty Lay and Pray win for sure.

God I hope not though.

If he cannot take Rafa down and hold him down he is getting lit the fuck up.

No, Colby never went 5 rounds, not sure he has cardio for a guy like Ralhpie who went 5 rounds few times already. Plus Dos Anjos landed 172 strikes against Lawler so imagine what will happen with hover hand tonight.

I can see RDA strangling him or KOing him. I just don't see Colby winning this fight.

I think Colby gets a little bloodied but ultimately wins a wrestling match

No I don’t.

Think he’s a stud fighter, and in levels he’s a winner.

He’s got so much to work on though.

Hope he figures this out, bfore shit goes sideways.

No. He could, but RDA has more tools and is pretty nasty on the ground himself. Colby's inexperience on the feet could be the deciding factor in this one.

I'm a grown man, I don't hate any fighter, that's ridiculous. I don't know them, they haven't done anything to me, they don't owe me anything, and they do and say whatever they want. It's how they market themselves.

All that said, RDA by late TKO. He has more ways to get it done than Colby.

Really doubt it will happen but you never know with MMA.

RDA was beaten by wrestlers at LW (Guida, Khabib), and we haven't seen him deal with a pure wrestler in years. Some say RDA's wrestling/TDD has improved a lot, but I don't think there's evidence. He's ragdolled a few guys like Pettis, but Pettis has very weak wrestling. Since Khabib, he's fought a few guys with decent wrestling (Bendo, Alvarez, TFerg), but 2 of those fights ended in 1st round KOs and Ferguson isn't a traditional wrestler at all. His style is nothing like Colby, Usman, Kevin Lee, Khabib, etc.

All that to say it's a pretty unpredictable fight in my book. I don't get the "RDA can't lose" stuff, but I'm not 100% confident in Colby either.

This is one of those fights that can't actually be called.
At the end of the fight the fans of whoever gets the W will act as if they knew all along but it's BS.
RDA has respectable stand up and Colby has subpar striking defense so i can see that giving dos anjos the edge but i'm just guessing.
Colby absolutely has enough tools to pull off a win.

All that said, RDA by late TKO. He has more ways to get it done than Colby.

Maybe, but we've seen plenty of wrestlers beat more well-rounded opponents before. All those "other ways" don't matter if you're on your back and can't get a sub or get back to your feet.

RDA is used to being the guy to put pressure on his opponent and push the pace, but he doesn't like being the one pressured.

I think if Colby can keep moving forward and getting RDA against the cage that he can beat him with his grappling, but if Colby isn't aggressive and RDA is then I don't see it going well for Colby.

Pulling for Colby to get the win tho, I am a fan.
