Hey Y'all... Possibly moving to Nainamo BC, and I'm wondering if anyone has any sort of comments or criticisms of the only MMA gym in town, Pure Fitness MMA. I've been training at Universal Martial arts in Vancouver for the past 2 years. They have a great program, several Champions and a winning record in local MMA, lots of class times and open mat times, great class sizes, decent rates, and lots of knowledgeable trainers and one on one attention. I'm wondering how Pure MMA stacks up in comparison as I train 5-6 days a week (BJJ and muay thai) and am considering eventually competing in BJJ and/or MMA. If the quality just isn't there I would consider moving to Victoria instead and going to Island MMA or ZUMA (would love to hear a comparison of these two gyms as well), as I know their reputation as world class gyms. thanks in advance for any replies!
Impact mma in nanaimo has a bunch of great pro fighters. graham spencer is head lining mfc's next show i believe.
