It's creepy what's going on over in Europe.
" Durham Free has been told to close after inspectors branded it an educational failure and said some children displayed ‘discriminatory views’ toward people of other faiths. The boy’s answer to the Muslim question apparently included a reference to terrorism."
Guardian is saying it was multiple reason , with alleged discriminatory view towards other religions being one. Doesn't say anything about a student's view of Islam though.
you be trolling Kazakh...
Kind of strange to me but I don't live there so their house their rules.
Sounds more like a poor quality school/teacher issue
From the Guardian article:
What is wrong with you guys across the pond?
A private school was forced to close because the state didn't agree with the curriculum. That should concern everyone.
Everyone with balls either left to conquer the world or died in a war.
ah what a world
While I agree with you the DM is sensationalist and loves to chum the waters with stories on race, religion and ofcourse benefits cheats - in this case I am not sure.
I say that because it isn't just a case of DM leaving out crucial facts or misleading interpretation but rather they are alleging a turn of events that are totally not mentioned in other sources. So either they totally made up the story of the boy from whole cloth or they are the only ones reporting on it and the other news are deliberately avoiding it altogether.
Try reading the story in another publication...
I think its crazy but I'm not a citizen of that country so if they are OK with this then who am I to tell them they need to be more like us.
I'm sure the people who run that school aren't okay with it.
A government funded school had it's funding withdrawn because it wasn't performing...
It should be obvious by now that the Dailymail isn't exactly setting standards for accurate reporting.
I did..., from the Beeb, Guardian, ITN and 1 other.
How does the behavior from 10 yr olds lead to "unsafe situations"?
