Full preview up now for our NoBSBoxing fans. Here's a taste:

After last Saturday nights Showtime telecast featured a pair of exciting fights featuring two of the brightest young stars in the game, this week HBO takes it turn to satisfy the viewers with a couple of fan friendly fights that are sure to be water cooler talk in all places worth working for.

In the lead-off, we have once beaten "prospect looking to turn contender", Alfredo Angulo facing off against former champion Joachim Alcine. Angulo (18-1 15 KO's) is coming off a reasonably impressive stoppage victory over Joel Julio back in April and now looks to cement himself firmly amongst the top contenders in the junior middleweight division. It's little over a year ago now that Angulo suffered his lone defeat at the hands of an upset minded Kermit Cintron, but in the eleven months since has ran off three straight stoppage wins and will be looking for number four come Saturday night.

Should be a sick night of fights for us all. Don't miss them.

I'm stoked for tomorrow... Angulo, flaws and all, is my favorite fighter on the planet...and Bradley is always exciting too

There could be money to be made in this fight, the under for this fight is listed at -130 and Angulo could very well finish Alchicine off in 8 rounds or less like Daniel Santos did cause he has been on a tear lately.

Yeah, the under is definitely the bet to make if you're interested in laying some cash.

looks like they have the over in this fight listed at +140, that's pretty damn good considering that Bradley will probably outbox Abregu to a decision. I wish money money wasn't tied up or i'd lay some cash on both of these fights.

Abregu has a good deal of size on Bradley, but Bradley is a much better technical fighter. I see Bradley boxing circles around Abregu and getting a fairly wide UD.
El Perro is always lots of fun to watch... so yeah, that'll be fun.

The size is something I touched on in the preview and I think it's going to be important. Bradley's always made his size work for him @ 140, but thats going to be harder to do as he goes up in weight and faces bigger competition more regularly.

Tonight is a good test to see how that'll go.

You need to post more where it matters, brother.

It's been slow going, but I think I've started to a little. Dropped a couple of posts there yesterday, I think. Or the day before. *shrugs*

lol you might be right, this is after all the guy who predicted Pavlik to KO Sergio Martinez

I was making a little fun of myself too with that post considering I posted a prediction of an early to mid round's win for Angulo on Tam's site. Me being the same guy who has been on about a 2 for 12 streak as of late when it comes to betting the O/U on the fights. Fuck, I'd fade myself if I could find some logical way to do it.

I was just goofing off, i've been making the same prediction and would probably bet money on it if my betting cash wasn't tied up at the moment. Made $400 off of the Andre Ward fight going to a decesion last month, that was awesome.

That's a nice payday. Congrats.

Prop bets taking the winner and manner of victory are the best. Great value in those usually and I've had my best success hitting those. e.g. Martinez was about a +140 dog when he fought Pavlik earlier this year, yet he was paying +280 I think if you took him to win by decision. That's out of whack. You get good lines like that all the time when betting the winner's manner of victory. My most profitable bet was taking Margarito over Cotto a couple of years ago via KO/TKO. That line paid +475 when I grabbed it, yet a straight up Margarito win was only +220 or something like that. Another prop line that, because the difference in Margarito's prices didn't make a whole lot of sense, provided a whole lot of value for those betting it.

Man, I don't see how some of yall can gamble so much. I used to bet all the time but no more then a 100$ per fight just between friends. I gamble at the casino around here but I don't think they have bookies. I have to check. The last fight I bet on was Hopkins/Traver and I am still pissed I lost the money. I put 200$ on Traver to win and he lost. For yall that still do it, let me just say this. Good luck and let it ride.

Im looking at when this starts it says 945 on HBO's website. Is it gonna be on 645 here on the west coast?

Yeah i'm just learning that prop bets are the way to go, i only started betting on boxing in april of this year and so far have had the most success betting on fights to go to decision like mayweather, chavez jr and Ward.

The Martinez-Pavlik fight is a sore spot for me, it was my first time betting and I was a little intimidated so I only put $20 on Martinez to win decision at +300. I won of course and at the time was happy but now that I have more experience with gambling and have seen just how rare oppurtunities like that are i have been kicking myself for not putting down more money ever since. I could have made $2000 off of that fight and I only put down 20 fucking bucks!! I swear the money i could have made off of that fight will haunt me for the rest of my life.

You can make it back tonight maybe if you bet on the over in the bradley fight or the under in the angulo fight.

I did a Lesnar (who's already won ) JMM, Anderson Silva and Jon Jones parlay : $200 to win $400.

You could do a parlay that includes the same guys except Lesnar and put down $200 to win $200. I don't see any of those guys losing so it seems like a great bet.

;D

that's my BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOY!
