PSA: Exciting Fighter This Saturday - Miguel Baeza - KO GIFs Inside

Uppercuts like that aren't supposed to be used as a leading attack, it's supposed to be used in response to a punch that you time and slip.

Gervonta Davis recent KO vs Leo Santa Cruz is a perfect example of a lead uppercut used effectively.

Also Jermall Charlo has nice uppercuts as well.

And of course Tyson's uppercuts, lots of vids of that so I won't bother posting.

It's a lead uppercut, meaning he's throwing the uppercut with no set-up. I specifically stated you don't throw it empty like that unless you are timing and slipping punches (counter). I was referencing the guy that got KO for throwing the lead uppercut without slipping/timing a punch (counter). I used examples of how it's properly used when timing/slipping punches (counter). I also mentioned all the guys that get KO using the lead uppercut because they didn't time/slip (counter) a punch and used it as a leading attack instead.

His left hook is nasty, comes out of no where. Looks like he is planting to throw a right hand then Boom
