The number one reason people return phones is because the expectation of the device didn't meet the cost. So instead of admitting they don't want to be tied down for two years or spend a thousand dollars outright to pay for it, they say it was a gift and that person didn't want it so it doesn't look like a remorse purchase - their fault.Yeeah, if part of your story is that your sister "rejected" a $1000 gift, i'm not buying it. Should probably start water boarding/enhanced interrogation.
What is the world coming to? Really?

Some of you should cease to take positions where you need to use objective common sense. It appears youre just too cynical to come to a conclusion where a suspicion doesn't necessarily register an automatic guilt because you always expect the worst in other people. What a sad world you live if everyone is a dishonest jerk except you. People use excuses like that to return because they think it's non-confrontational. They don't want to say things like this phone isn't worth a thousand dollars or i think it's an overpriced p.o.s. because they don't want to get into some kind of dialog with the clerk that sells this stuff for a living.![]()
