That shoulda been ruled a win for Lombard.

Dollaway tried sneak in a free kick at the bell and paid for it then he faked that stretcher.

By that virtue, Randamie should’ve lost the belt like 3 times to Holly.

Protect yourself DURING the fight. You shouldn’t have to protect yourself when it’s illegal to throw a strike. That’s like saying protect yourself before the fight.

Ya’ll make no sense

TS is right. Fighters should also be allowed to bite each other's dick off and gouge out eyeballs.

Protect yourself at all times has some limits.
Should you keep your guard up when you are on the stool?

Stop making a Cathy Newman argument. You are in a legally sanctioned fight, you should expect anything at anytime. This doesn't mean the sport shouldn't have rules.

Just because you expect Mike Tyson to bite your ear, and you prepare and perform accordingly, it doesn't mean that biting ears should be allowed in boxing. Those are two different arguments.

Dollaways kick = legal

Lombards punch = illegal

It was the right call and it's an easy one tbh

You know there is a rule that you shouldn't hit your opponent after the hell... right ?? right ??!!!

Nope, just nope. That's DURING THE FIGHT.

TS you're an idiot. I'm sorry, but you don't even understand the origins of the saying. "Protect yourself at all times" comes from boxing, where temporary breaks in the middle of the round are common (for example during a tie-up). Many fighters let their guards down during said referee breaks, only to get caught by a punch they didn't see coming when the ref quickly restarts the fight.

Protect yourself at all times is meant to only apply DURING THE FIGHT TIME.

The second that bell sounds to close out the round, the "fight" is no longer on. Anyone hitting after the bell should be charged with assault.

and take as much roids as possible!

I am not disputing the rule. The rule is there and should be enforced. That is one thing. However, as an individual, you can add another level of protection for yourself by proceeding as if your opponent doesn't respect the rules.

Drinking and driving is illegal, but I drive like if every drive on the road is driving under the influence of alcohol. It is called "defensive driving." Yes, I know there are rules, but I proceed as the people around me don't respect those rules, so I give myself an extra level of protection.

If you don't get this, I can't help you.

TS confusing this for WWF's hard-core title 24/7 rule...

<{cruzshake}>

Nope. Bell rang, time's up, guard is down.

Mayfeather got cheap shots in that way gatti ortiz...I mean gatti would've lost anyways but still...

So if the drunk driver hits you, that it's your fault for not being aware?

Cuz that's what TS is saying by claiming Lombard should be the winner.

Exactly, why is CB Dolloway suing the elevator company when he got injured during fight week? He should've been protecting himself at all times.
