Giovanni fought in the first series of TUF Brasil at 145 lbs and lost. He tried out knowing he was 20 + lighter than everyone else and still managed to make the show. His team knew he was to small for the tournament but did it anyways.

Dileno was supposed to fight Soldado a few months back and Lopes came in 7 lbs overweight and the fight was called off.

    Dont forget Higo and Pantoja.

Am I the only one who doesnt understand what the UFC is doing with the next TUF Brazil?

They are doing tryouts for HW, LHW, MW and NOT flyweight.

Think of a TUF Brazil Flyweight season with

Higo, Lopes, Pantoja, Moraes, Robson New, Soldado

Was looking for Mikinho's fight with Dileno, but couldn't find it. The only fight I could find of his from this year was agains Marcos Maju.

I also looked for Soldado's other fight from this year, but couldn't find it also. Nevertheless, that fight you posted was awesome. That guillotine choke was deep and a nice win.

Brazil's really been bringing the lighter weight class prospects these last 2 or 3 years; Morceguinho, Soldado, Mikinho, Sheymon, Mario Israel, Gilberto Dias, Cabecinha, etc.

Yes, but in Dileno's defense, he did face probably the best fighter in the weight class and he fought 2 weight classes above his normal weight class against a guy much bigger than him.
