I got TJ by UD, by the way. However, the UFC desperately wants Cody to win, and it won't surprise me if he gets a split decision nod because of something crazy like octagon control and moving forward.

I think t.j is the better fighter but it's one of those fights I couldn't bet after watching the end of that 1st round.I can see Cody catching t.j ....and early but I don't see Cody making multiple defenses where I can see t.j being champ for awhile but I could definitely see him losing to Cody.

Cody's main tool is his boxing. TJ has trained with Lomachenko a lot. Outside of a puncher's chance, Cody has nothing for TJ. TJ takes it again.

Cody isn't chinny. His chin is fine. He throws everything with full power and is susceptible to eating counters in the worst way. Getting countered is like getting hit by yourself and the other guy at the same time. TJ will counter Cody again and this fight will end the same way the first fight ended.

Cody was always a step ahead in the first fight until he started clowning around and left his chin out to get kicked.

I kind of think TJ beats him again unfortunately because Cody just had a kid and that is a hard thing to deal with. and some other reasons...

I think Cody has better standup -- much more speed and technique with his hands. But you are 100% correct... TJ has a much better chin.

Both guys can win this, and it will look a lot like Cody vs Dom assuming he can stay away from TJ's power. I'd argue TJ's only chance to win this fight is by KO/TKO. This isn't a fight I can see TJ winning by decision, since if it goes that way Cody is likely to pick him apart.

Both guys are too chinny and hit to hard to have a war. First fight was good though, TJ definitely got saved by the bell which alot of people overlook.

Whoever lands the first good shot is putting the other guy out.
